Our Mission
The Ahearn Fund, K-State’s National Fund for Student-Athlete Excellence, was founded in 1964 with the primary objective of providing resources from the private sector to assist with rising scholarship costs.
Named after legendary Wildcat coach and administrator, Mike Ahearn, the Ahearn Fund supports 16 sport programs in an ever-changing environment. From academic programming to facility enhancements, we are committed to providing teams with the resources necessary to succeed at the highest level.
Why We Need Your Help
K-State Athletics continues to operate with no direct or indirect university, student, or state funding – the only school in Kansas to be self-sustaining. The grass-roots participation and dedication of Wildcat fans continues to remain the largest source of support for student-athletes as we strive to sustain the same level of excellence at K-State.
